How To Choose Your Artificial Christmas Tree

How To Choose Your Artificial Christmas Tree

Putting your Christmas tree up is guaranteed to get you into the festive mood but finding a great tree can often be easier said than done. Artificial trees are increasingly popular due to their longer life, lower maintenance and easier storage.

So what should you look for when buying an artificial Christmas tree?

The first consideration is the size. Make sure you measure the area where you plan on putting your tree as the last thing you want to do is order your tree and find out it doesn't fit in the space. Don't forget to measure the floor to ceiling height as well as the width.

Another consideration is the material used and the number of tips. Most artificial trees are made with PVC or PE with each having different benefits. PVC will not fade and is fire resistant whereas PE will give a more realistic aesthetic. Very Merry Christmas trees use a mix of both to provide you with the most authentic look possible.

The number of tips on your tree is a key indicator for the quality of a tree. A tree with fewer tips will look sparse and you may be able to see the pole in the middle of the tree - so if you're after realism, go for a tree with more tips.

The final thing to consider is whether it is pre-decorated. Artificial trees can come with lights, pinecones, berries and snow effects which can look great and save the need for decorating. Our trees have several combinations of the above features so you can find the perfect one for your home.

We have several options for Christmas trees at Very Merry. We have four different models of tree which each boast three sizes. All of our Christmas trees can be purchased in a 5ft, 6ft, or 7ft version.

Our Christmas trees are made up of three different sections with hinged branches which makes it hassle-free experience when assembling, dismantling and storing away.

All of our Christmas trees are made from fire-resistant materials, a foldable base and realistic PE/PVC leaves which ensure years of reliable use.

Below is a breakdown of the differences between our Christmas trees so that you can figure out which is the best one for your home this festive season.
